Guangdong Cross-Border E-Commerce Imports and Exports Rose 62.2% From January to April
From January to April this year, Guangdong foreign trade total import and export value reached ¥2.12 trillion, rising 0.8% from a year earlier, released by Guangdong Sub-Administration of China Customs. The total value includes ¥1.27 trillion of exports (rising 2.4%); ¥857.34 billion of imports (decreasing 1.5%); ¥407.73 billion of favourable balance of trade (expanding 11.7%). In addition, cross-border e-commerce imports and exports came up to ¥23.7 billion, rising 62.2% greatly.

AliExpress Wang Mingqiang: Global Cross-Border Consumers to Exceed 1 Billion in 2020
On May 30, Wang Mingqiang, the General Manager of AliExpress, made a speech at the Cross-Border E-Commerce Forum of 2019 China E-Commerce Convention, indicating that China would remain the unique most popular cross-border e-commerce source with global consumers in the future. In terms of various data, such as in 2020, the overall quantity of global cross-border B2C consumers will exceed 1 billion, of which 26% of overseas consumers are bound to purchase commodities made in China.

According to 2019 Global Cross-Border E-Commerce Market and Development Tendency Research Report issued by iiMedia Research recently, global B2C cross-border e-commerce turnover in 2018 exceeded $650 billion, rising 27.5% from a year earlier, and it would exceed $800 billion in 2019.
According to the report, as of 2018, 24% of global consumers selected Amazon for the recent cross-border e-commerce online purchase, 16% selected AliExpress, 14% selected eBay, and 10% selected Lazada. Moreover, the figures marked China’s cross-border e-commerce trade volume in 2019 would be expected to come up to ¥10.8 trillion.
